Foursquare is a location-based social networking website, software for mobile devices. Users “check-in” at venues using a mobile website, text messaging or a device-specific application.
This app helps direct users to new locations and activities, along with sharing your location with your friends. Each venue “check-in”, such as the Doubletree San Jose, Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops, and Club Max gives you points and sometimes “badges”.
