Halloween Fun at Doubletree this Week

Guests will be invited to judge the Doubletree Hotel San Jose pumpkin contest! All departments are busy decorating, carving, painting, etc their pumpkins today and tomorrow then we will display them in the lobby Wednesday evening. Make sure you stop by and drop your vote in.

A little history: Known to many as the King of Grapes, Cabernet Savignon may have risen to fame as the primary grape in Bordeaux centuries ago, but it was California that was blessed with a climate ideal for Cabernet to attain perfect ripeness. As a result, California Cabernet Savignon focuses on ripeness of fruit character while French bottlings tend to be more varied in the character having been tempered through blending with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petite Verdot and Malbec.

Bull Terriers are in the house this weekend!

We are excited to be showing off our pet friendliness this weekend at Doubletree Hotel San Jose with the Barbary Coast Bull Terrier Club in house. Being a dog lover myself I just had to get out from behind my desk and go mingle with some of the pups. Here is who I met

Peyton (L) and Fritz (R) were hanging out at the Bull Terrier Rescue Inc table, who are based out of San Francisco. Peyton is actually one of the dogs who was rescued and is up for adoption. If you are interested in her please contact them at 415-672-7391 or www.bullterrierrescue.com

This little beauty is Edwina, it was an honor to meet her as she is this year’s Westminster Winner!

James traveled here all the way from Phoenix. He is just 17 weeks old and was the only puppy in his litter.
