No purchase is necessary. Limit one fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie per person. France’s national music celebration known as Fête de la Musique comes to Silicon Valley for the first time as Santana Row hosts the festival of free music on Saturday, June 20th from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. Produced in partnership with the French American Cultural Society (FACS) and San Jose Jazz, the event will feature world-class French and Franco-American performers, as well as some of the best Bay Area musicians, performing music of all genres on four outdoor stages located throughout the neighborhood-and it’s all FREE.

Doubletree Teaches Kids to CARE!

Last week team members from our CARE and Think Green committees visited Reed Elementary School in South San Jose. We spent the afternoon with a classroom of third graders teaching them the importance of taking care of our earth. We focused on recycling and discussed what the students and their families can do to help save energy in their homes and the community. The class then got to decorate recycled containers and plant some flower seeds in them to take home to remind them about what they had learned. Of course couldn’t leave without providing them with a signature Doubletree cookie break complete with ice cold milk!
